About the Event

In this workshop you will learn: 

The methods  to make the slip for Mishima. 

The type of clay you can use and the methods to make a successful Mishima project.

How to polish the clay before cutting. 

How to transfer patterns onto the surface of the piece for cutting.

Due to the high cost of Mishima cutting tools, you will learn how to make my own cutting tools. 

(Blayne brings tools that you can use and possibly purchase.

Note: For the people who have already done the slip decoration workshop, there is also a follow-up technique that will be included in the workshop. It is a mixture of the two techniques.

bring over

2 or 3 workpieces  made of clay without chamotte or porcelain. 

The works are leather-hard.
